TauPDF is a desktop program. The PDF files you open, edit and save are processed on your computer and are not uploaded to our servers.

To activate and refresh your plan, the program contacts our server. This sends a random installation ID, the program version, the Windows version, the interface language and the country of your connection. Our database does not store your IP address; ordinary web-server logs may contain it for a limited time.

If you enter a licence key, it is linked to your installation ID so that the number of computers can be checked.

If you use Help → Report a problem, we also receive the text you write and the contact you enter. Your PDF files are never sent.

This website uses no advertising trackers and no third-party fonts.

If you write to us by email, we receive your address and your message, and we use them only to answer you.
